Margot Merrill Fernandez
founder and creative director

Margot has more than 20 years of experience building complex digital products that are easy and enjoyable to use.  She created and grew the content strategy team at Hot Studio in 2012 before joining Facebook in 2014. At Facebook, Margot led projects to overhaul the main marketing sites for businesses and careers, and managed teams of content strategists working on Facebook Pages and Events. 

With Wordland, Margot brings together experienced strategists and copywriters to supplement internal teams and meet your business goals.

Charlotte has more than 10 years' experience managing and executing projects with global teams. Charlotte ensures that the Wordland team works seamlessly with clients, tracking every project detail and deliverable with impeccable care. She specializes in delivering winning results while improving colleagues' and clients' morale and shared culture.

Erin has spent more than 15 years designing product and communications programs that turn ideas into stories that inspire action. She’s led brand and content strategy projects for B2B and B2C clients in tech, consumer packaged goods, and academia. Erin’s experience with both product design and marketing give her the unusual ability to help stakeholders in different roles companywide find common language.

Whether thinking big or digging into details, Erin leads and integrates with teams to create experiences that delight customers and meet business goals.
